AMS Forum: Agaricus ID Help (1/1)

These were found in grass near a forested ravine in Edmonton. White with cream/tan shading on top. Dark pink turning brown gills. Ragged ring had brown topside. Stalk stained Brownish pink. In fridge overnight the stalk stain looks more yellowish. Agaricus edibility? Enough to know it doesn’t stain yellow at first?

Thanks Candice. It wasn’t that small (about 2 inches across) and it definitely didn’t have gills or spongy pores like a bolete; the underside reminded me of polypores (kind of a tougher pore surface) and the orange colour on cutting was surprising.
